This groundbreaking initiative is bringing communities together, one painted tile, one tree, and one country at a time. Led by acclaimed artist Lewis Lavoie, we are creating stunning mural mosaics that symbolize unity and connection.

WHO IS PRODUCING GLOBAL ROOTS?
Mural Mosaic has been connecting communities, businesses, schools and teams since 2003.
Our passion is unity through diversity. We see our mosaic murals as community connectors.
Connecting one tile at a time to create a moving mosaic legacy of a moment in time.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have worked with so many incredible organizations to celebrate their milestones and to create lasting memories in these beautiful expressions of mosaic art murals.
HOW CAN YOUR ORGANIZATION BECOME A MURAL HOST?
Mural location host applications are NOW OPEN:
Global Roots Mural installation locations are highly sought after.
Here are a few basic requirements to become a Host:
- You have 50 participants to paint tiles to be included in the mural mosaic
- Your organization or community has a wall large enough to install up to a 12x24 foot/3.6x7.3 meter artwork
- The installation wall location is safe, open to the public without an entrance fee for anyone to view the mural
- Murals must be in place for a minimum 2-3 years up to any maximum time period
- You have budget authority to approve the cost of hosting
- The organization will host a celebratory moment to unveil the mural with our team

ART WITH PURPOSE
Every Global Roots Mosaic Mural engages participants in the process of painting a tile representing their connection to community, country, colleagues, team, family and even the world!
Each tile is painted with loving care to represent an important and iconic image that holds meaning to its participant.
Participants of every age and skill level are welcome to paint in these collaborative mosaic murals.
Completed tiles are collected digitally, then our artist and design teams work their magic to create each mosaic mural.
As all the completed tiles connect, a united image of a tree emerges representing both the contributions of individual participants and the collective group artwork - a true reflection of unity through diversity.
Participants return over and over again to reflect on their experience and show others their painted tile contribution to the mural.
